2015 Evironment and Energy Awards reconises UK green innovation

EEAwards's picture

The Environment and Energy Awards are widely regarded as one of the highest accolades for sustainability in the UK corporate sector. Open to innovative green champions large and small, the awards help highlight green best practice across the UK.
See below for details of 2015's award categories and finalists.

For the past 15 years the Environment and Energy Awards have delivered a night of glitz and glamour where some of the biggest names in business gather to recognise outstanding excellence in sustainable business practices. Each year the awards have attracted attendees looking for innovation, inspiration and the chance to network with fellow energy and environmental business professionals.

Now in their 16th year, the awards celebrate advancements in green technologies; excellence in energy and water management and outstanding company performances within the sustainability division. The awards run alongside the annual Sustainability Live Conference and Exhibition, which brings together thousands of individuals looking for ways to make their business more sustainable. Both the awards and exhibition highlight how issues surrounding sustainability have become widely engrained in business cultures and give companies and organisations the opportunity to be recognised for their efforts and achievements.

This year the number of entries for the Environment and Energy Awards was more than ever before and the standard of all entries was particularly high, making the competition tough and the judge’s work very difficult, but after weeks of review, the final decisions have been made and the finalists for the 2015 Environment and Energy Awards have now been announced.

The overall winners will be announced as part of a prestigious gala dinner celebration at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham on the 22nd April 2015.
