GreenEcoNet Final Conference on circular economy and SMEs a success

GreenEcoNet's Final Conference entitled 'Moving towards a circular economy: Challenges and opportunities for SMEs' took place at CEPS in Brussels on the 26 May 2016.

With 120 participants in attendance, the conference welcomed stakeholders from the small business, policy-making, research communities to discuss a range of issues relevant to SMEs and the circular economy.

The conference discussion covered a range of themes, with the first panel launching the event by discussing the key results of the GreenEcoNet project and its implications for policy making in the EU.

The second session tackled the barriers and enablers for implementation of circular economy business models, followed by a final session on the implications of the Circular Economy Package for SMEs in the EU.
