The Guardian Sustainable Business Awards 2016 (UK) - one month left to enter!

If you're a UK registered business, time is running out to submit your entry for 2016's Guardian Sustainable Business Awards.

The Guardian Sustainable Business Awards 2016 are aimed at sharing sustainability best practice more widely. In addition to the award and recognition, every award winner has a piece published on the Guardian about their project or initiative.

So if you're a UK based business and your sustainability project has gone above and beyond normal practice make sure you enter by Friday 12 February

Entry fees for small businesses (1-249 employees) are £295 + VAT per entry to an award category.

There are 14 categories in total:

  • Bold move
  • Built environment
  • Carbon and energy management
  • Collaboration
  • Diversity and inclusion
  • Finance for good
  • Net positive
  • Social impact
  • Startup of the year
  • Supply chain
  • Waste
  • Water

All categories are open to SMEs, but 'Startup of the year' is specifically new businesses launched between 1 January 2011 and 31 July 2015.
