Roberto RINALDI
After a BSc (Business Administration) and an MSc (European Economy & Business Law), I decided to deepen my academic knowledge in the field of environmental economics and management at the University of York, in the UK. Here, I first came into contact with SEI participating, through my MSc dissertation, in the Agricultural Water Management Interventions project to evaluate water-related adaptation strategies in the Nariarlé watershed, Burkina Faso.
Currently, I am part of the GECO group (Green ECOnomists) as Research Associate, collaborating on the creation and implementation of low-carbon development strategies at local scale economy, resulting in effective reduction in the emissions of GHGs. My contribution focuses on environmental and economic valuations occurring at different stages of projects carried out by our research team. I also work on the M&E system in place at SEI.
Meanwhile, I am involved in European-wide projects, being appointed Project Officer for the EU FP7 funded GreenEcoNet platform aimed at supporting SMEs across the globe in their transition towards the green economy.
